A bronze cased medal of the Royal Humane Society Lateat scintillvla Forsan, HOC Pretivm Cive Servato Tvlit, VIT OB SERV D.D SOC.REG HVM awarded to Mr George Pateman to mark his rescue of 2 young brothers Harold and Basil in danger of drowning in the Thames whilst he was stationed at Windsor. Marked Coy Sergt Major G.H.Pateman. 22ND July 1918, along with a certificate and letters of thank you from the boys father and rector of Beaumont College old Windsor dared 1918, paper clippings and photograph of his time in the Army Physical Training Corps.
